DevOps Engineer

What You'll Do
We're looking for a DevOps engineer who loves automation and reliability. You'll own our infrastructure, improve our deployment pipelines, and help us maintain 99.9% uptime while shipping code multiple times per day.
This is a contract role with potential to convert to full-time. You'll work closely with our engineering team to build systems that scale, automate everything, and make developers' lives easier.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure on AWS, Oracle Cloud, and other platforms
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
- Monitor system performance, uptime, and implement alerting systems
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management
- Work with development team to improve deployment workflows
- Respond to incidents and perform root cause analysis
What We're Looking For
Required
- 3+ years of DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience
- Strong experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront)
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, or container orchestration
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins)
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Understanding of networking, security, and monitoring best practices
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages
Nice to Have
- Experience with Oracle Cloud, Netlify, or similar deployment platforms
- Knowledge of serverless architectures and edge computing
- Experience with monitoring tools (DataDog, New Relic, Grafana)
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis
- Background in software development or full-stack engineering
- Previous startup experience or fast-paced environments
